Hi, I’m Janette!

I’m so excited to soak up life and make magic with you! With a background as a doula, retreat facilitator and sex educator- I've always been drawn to people in their portal moments. In those times of big transformation, when you're celebrating, honoring making it though, or stepping into a new version of yourself. Always infused with intention, photography is my way of holding space for that shift, creating an embodied experience infused with meaning, ritual, and, of course, so much fun.

While I hold any nervousness with tenderness, please know that I will also absolutely be screaming, “Oh my god, you look soooo good!” during our session. This is more than just a photoshoot—it’s a chance to stretch your self-perception, to see yourself with fresh eyes and get to see reflected back to you what you don’t often get to witness.

Oh, and I **will** take the best ass picture of your life.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably traveling—I live for wandering down new streets, feeling the sun on my face, and jumping into the ocean every chance I get. I’m really living up my semi-retired lifestyle* (think: long walks with friends, reading for hours, and enjoying ridiculously good food that gives me goosebumps).

I’m based in Seattle but travel often for work and joy. If you’re somewhere new and exciting, let’s make magic happen.
