FAQs
WE’RE NOT MODELS, HOW WILL WE KNOW WHAT TO DO? One of my favorite things about intimate couple’s shoots is that it’s actually not about posing at all. My goal is to give you both structure and freedom so you’re not left hanging but that you still have the ability to move with your own relationship energy within that space. You already have an energetic connection and a way of moving together so we’ll create scenarios where you can inhabit and move WITH that energy. We’ll sit down and chat about how you met, what you love about your relationship, and your vision and comfort levels for the day. I’ll lead you through a guided mediation to drop into your bodies and connections. From there I’ll give you fun, playful and sensual exercises to do. I’m here to witness and honor you.
WILL OUR PHOTOS BE ONLINE? I will never share your photos online unless you give me specific permission to. Consent is key here. After your session, I’ll send you a digital gallery with your photos. You’re the only one with access to it. Following that you’ll receive a link to mark any photos you feel comfortable with me sharing. There is zero pressure to any of them. Some folks let me know I can share anything from the gallery, some mark specific photos and some don’t choose any at all. If you do choose for me to share, you can let me know if you’d like to be tagged or remain anonymous, or if you’d like me to share any of your story along with it.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR? Anything that makes you feel good! Folks have brought in lingerie, robes, sweatpants, their favorite gold booty shorts, a sweater and undies, jean and t-shirts or decide to be in the buff. There are no rules other than listen to yourselves and do what feels good.
DO WE HAVE TO GET NAKED? Nudity is absolutely welcome and also not required at all. Sexy is an energy, not an outfit. We only pick outfits and I only suggest body positioning based on what feels most comfortable and in alignment for you.
WE HAVE AN IDEA! CAN WE DO IT? Do you want to do an entire session in a bathtub? Embody different energies within you? Have jelly from a doughnut dripping down your chests? Focus on the shapes that your bodies can make? Let's chat and see how we can make it happen! I LOVE seeing inspiration photos and things that you think are sexy. WHERE WILL OUR SESSION BE? Most sessions happen in studios or bedrooms in Seattle. I've also done sessions in the middle of a lakes (being in water is one of my favorite things in the world), on rooftops, and in an outdoor courtyard in Havana. I’d LOVE to go to the ocean, the sand dunes, places with bathtubs. If you have a dream vibe, let me know and we can brainstorm together. I travel constantly, so if you’re based somewhere else or want to fly somewhere together, let’s make it happen.
HOW MUCH EDITING DO YOU DO? I edit mostly for colors and tones and distracting elements from your photos. With the exception of temporary marks like bug bites and bruises (if specifically requested) I don’t Photoshop to alter or change bodies.
WHAT IF THERE ARE MORE THAN 2 OF US? Please bring as many loves as you want! Intimate portrait sessions are for polyamorous folks too. I don’t have limits to how many people are involved in the sessions and the prices remain the same.
